Dane Co. Republican Party to Hold Rally; Trump Being Treated for COVID-19

The Dane County Republican Party is moving forward with a rally even though President Trump is unable to attend.

Republican Party chair Scott Grabins says a rally will proceed as scheduled this afternoon at the state capitol.  After he and wife Melania tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday, the President canceled his participation in upcoming rallies in several Wisconsin cities.

President Trump is showing mild symptoms of COVID-19 at Walter Reed Hospital near Washington, DC.  The President was checked in yesterday after testing positive for the virus.  Trump reportedly had mild symptoms including a fever, congestion and a cough, and will be hospitalized for several days.

Last night, Trump thanked his well wishers and tweeted that things were going well.  Several other White House staff members have also tested positive for the coronavirus.
