Coronavirus cases continue to surge in Wisconsin. State health officials say today Wisconsin added 20-thousand cases in the last ten days and is averaging over 22-hundred new cases a day for the past week.
Seventeen more deaths were reported today as the death toll reached 13-hundred. Today’s positivity rate was 22-percent.
This, as preliminary results from a study by the State Department of Health and the University of Wisconsin-Madison shows few residents have coronavirus antibodies. The initial findings of the study were released today and found that out of over one-thousand-50 people tested, only one-point-six-percent were positive for antibodies.
The antibodies would indicate if someone had been infected with COVID-19 at some point even if they were asymptomatic.
