Wisconsin Health officials say two more people are dead and 47 more have been admitted to hospitals with COVID-19.
The Department of Health Services today said over 17-hundred cases came back positive yesterday with a statewide positivity rate of just under 22-percent. The coronavirus has claimed the lives of 12-hundred-and-83 Wisconsinites.
Other parts of our state are seeing the spike. Officials with the Menominee Indian tribe say emergency rooms and hospitals are being pushed past their capacity limits due to a spike in COVID-19 patients.
In a Facebook post today, officials say the virus is spreading quickly across the reservation because of more and more people gathering with others outside their household.
