Soldiers with the Wisconsin Army National Guard are back home after a year-long deployment.
About 150 soldiers return today after mobilization in the Middle East and Afghanistan. A traditional homecoming ceremony was not held because of COVID-19 restrictions. The soldiers are with the 829th engineer company which deployed overseas in October of last year and supported construction missions at 21 bases across the Middle East.
