Prosecutors are dismissing sexual assault charges against an Eau Claire man.
Last week, charges were dropped against Alphonso Washington-Davis for allegedly holding a knife to a woman’s throat and raping her in 2018. Eau Claire County prosecutors dropped five charges September 3rd, citing factors that weren’t detailed in court records. Washington-Davis was charged for contempt of court the same day.
