Wisconsin’s local election managers are getting a reminder from the state’s Election Commission that the deadline to get absentee ballots in the mail is quickly approaching.
Election Commission Administrator Meagan Wolfe wrote to the state’s clerks yesterday to remind them that the deadline to mail absentee ballots is next Thursday. Wolfe said the deadline to mail ballots is always important, but said the deadline will be closely watched this year.
Wolfe said the Election Commission understands that some local clerks may struggle to meet the deadline, she’s asking those clerks to keep her in the loop.
