A number of Wisconsin’s top cops are asking the state’s governor and lieutenant governor to stop talking about Kenosha Police and the Jacob Blake shooting until all of the facts come out.
The heads of the state’s Sheriff’s Association, Chiefs of Police, Deputies Association, and Police Executives yesterday wrote Governor Evers and Lt. Governor Mandela Barnes a letter asking them not to speak about the shooting, or issue any more statements. The cops say the governor and lieutenant governor are putting lives at risk by making “premature, judgmental, inflammatory” statements.
