On Wednesday August 26, 2020 at approximately 9: 16am, the Buffalo County Sheriff’ s Office took a 911 call reporting a 2 vehicle crash on State Road 35 at Lincoln St. in the Village of Nelson.
21 year old Mary Craner was operating a 2013 Volkswagon Tiguan and 83 year old Richard Burmester was the lone occupant of a 1997 Honda Moped.
Initial investigation at the crash scene showed Burmester was northbound on Hwy 35 at Lincoln St. when Mary Graner, who was on Lincoln St attempted to turn south onto Hwy 35 and both vehicles hit . Burmester was transported to Wabasha hospital with unknown injuries, Graner reported she was not injured.
