Lumber prices are up between 80-and-150-percent since April.
The National Association of Home Builders say the price is increasing due mostly to the pandemic, as mills are closed or short staffed and many people have more free time to do projects themselves. The association says the prices are at a record high and they’re working to address the issues that contribute to that.
