There are two things on the to-do list for thousands of people across southeast Wisconsin: clean-up, and get their electricity back.
Yesterday’s storms downed trees, snapped power lines, and left a trail of damage behind. The storms also knocked out power to thousands of people. As of 2 a.m., WE Energies said more than 10-thousand people in and around Milwaukee were without power. There is no word when the power will be turned back on. Forecasters say the storms that hit southeast Wisconsin were part of a derecho that swept across most of the Midwest.
