The plan to build apartments in Eau Claire’s downtown Railroad lot is moving ahead.
The city council last night decided to move forward with the project. Not everyone is happy. About 35 hundred people signed a petition to stop the apartments. They worry about downtown parking and that the apartment complex would take away outside seating at the Galloway Grille and Scooter’s.
