Demonstrators hold a block party and then march to the state capitol in support of the rights of African Americans.
The event was part of Seven Shades Of Black week of which Friday was day four. The block party happened at the Hilldale Shopping Center yesterday afternoon followed by the march down University Avenue to the capitol last night.
