A new report shows military spouses are falling for more employment scams.
The Better Business Bureau says an employment scam is when someone is led to believe they are getting a job that isn’t real. The report shows more than ten-thousand people have been victims of employment scams since 2017.
According to a 2019 Military Consumers and Marketplace Trust report, almost 20-percent of military spouses lost money in an employment scam compared to fifteen-and-a-half-percent of non-military spouses.
