There are more people turning to Eau Claire’s food bank for their groceries.
Managers at Feed My People yesterday said they saw a 20 percent increase in demand last month. Feed My People’s Suzanne Becker says there are a lot of people who need help for the first time in their lives. She says record-high unemployment in Wisconsin is driving the increase in need.
