EAGLE CENTER TO FLY HIGH AGAIN

EAGLE CENTER TO FLY HIGH AGAIN

Welcome to your weekend! If you are looking to plan a little day trip or travel virtually during a stay-cation, you will soon be able to see the majesty of eagles in action once again.

The National Eagle Center is ready to gradually reopen its doors to the public. On Thursday, June 25, the Center will welcome back visitors for the first time since temporarily closing in mid-March by order of the Governor in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Per state requirements, the Center has a COVID-19 Preparedness Plan in place and will only be allowed to operate at 25% visitor capacity.

Beginning on June 25, the Center will be open weekly Thursday through Sunday from 10 am to 5:30 pm. Each day will be divided into four 90-minutes sessions at 10 am, Noon, 2 pm and 4 pm. Visitors will be required to purchase timed admission tickets online prior to their arrival and only 50 visitors will be allowed during each session. Staff will effectively clean the facility between each group.
