WI CORONAVIRUS NUMBERS STEADY, LOCAL CHANGES

More people continue to test positive for the coronavirus, while a lot more people continue to test negative.

The latest count from the state’s Department of Health Services shows the virus’ numbers are holding steady. DHS yesterday reported 286 positive tests, just under ten thousand negative tests, and ten new deaths. Those numbers are in-line with what Wisconsin has seen from the virus over the past two weeks.

Crowds will be bigger in Eau Claire this weekend.

City-County health director Lieske Giese yesterday said crowds of up to 100 people can now gather outside, while indoor crowds can grow to 50. Barber shops, salons, and other one-on-one service providers can now see up to 20 clients per-day. Giese continues to push social distancing and other health precautions.
