Eau Claire’s Fourth of July fireworks are being moved.
Community Services Director Jeff Pippenger yesterday said the fireworks will now be launched from a park next to the Forest Hill Cemetery. Pippenger said the idea is to move the show away from Carson Park to give the entire city a better view of the fireworks.
There is also a hope that letting people watch from home will cut down on crowd sizes.
