A body was recovered from a local river.
It was just before 10 on Tuesday morning, June 9th when the Dunn County Communications Center received a report of a body in the Chippewa River upstream of the old railroad bridge in the Town of Dunn.
Dunn County Deputies responded to the scene. The body was determined to be that of a white male and the individual was deceased. The Dunn County Medical examiner responded to the scene and assisted with recovering the body. An autopsy is being conducted at the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office in Minnesota. The body has been identified, however, the name is not being released at this time pending notification of family and relatives.
The matter remains under investigation.
