Multiple people were arrested for Armed Robbery / Substantial Battery.
It happened about 6:45 on the evening of April 30th. The Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call of a disturbance near Hwy 10 along Harvey Rd. in the Town of Mondovi.
During the investigation, it was learned that a person had been assaulted with a tire iron and then struck by a vehicle by the same persons. During the course of the assault, the suspects had taken the victims property.
A traffic stop of the suspect vehicle was made by the Pepin County Sheriff’s Office in Pepin County on US Hwy. 10. All four suspects, 30 year old Jenah Love, 28 year old Chad Downs, 28 year old Tonya Novak and 26 year old Jacob Vosseteig were taken into custody and charged in Buffalo Co. court with Armed Robbery and Substantial Battery. Additional charges are pending related to Methamphetamine and heroin, which are believed to be contributing factors in the case.
