Wisconsin’s governor says it is more important for people to stay at home than to go to church for Easter or go to temple for Passover.
Republican lawmakers on Friday asked that the governor allow people to attend religious services this weekend despite his Safer at Home order. The governor’s office said in a statement that protecting public health is more important at this point and time.
