MN MAN CHARGED AFTER EAU CLAIRE BREAK IN

Police are charging a Minneapolis man with burglary and criminal trespass after he broke into an Eau Claire home.

Police arrested 34-year-old Fernell Nickson after a witness saw him attempting to break into his house and garage earlier this month. Police stopped Nickson as he was leaving the garage and caught him with a backpack full of credit cards and checkbooks that connected him to a number of other thefts.

Nickson was also charged with misdemeanor theft and possession of narcotic drugs. He is scheduled to be in court June 17th.
