CASES JUMP, #SAFERATHOME EXPLAINED

There are 100 new coronavirus cases confirmed in Wisconsin today.  The Department of Health Services says 707 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the state.

Eight people have died from the virus.  Milwaukee County has the most with 347 confirmed cases and five deaths.  Dane County has 114 cases and one death followed by Waukesha County with 56 cases and Washington County with 25.

Governor Tony Evers says it’s important for all Wisconsinites to understand the Safer at Home order.

The governor tweeted today that people can make trips to the grocery store or the pharmacy, but try to limit them to just once a week.  The governor also suggested thanking grocery store workers for keeping shelves stocked.  Evers has more Safer at Home tips posted on social media.
