Life may be inconvenienced a bit but not totally halted with the Safer at Home initiative authorized by Governor Tony Evers.
The governor said today the state is not in total lock-down and essential businesses like healthcare, those that provide food, shelter and social services, pharmacies, grocery stores, gas stations, banks, laundromats, child care facilities and much more will remain open.
The initiative is to encourage people to stay home and limit contact with others for the next several weeks as a way of stemming the spread of the coronavirus.
