A violation of department rules is landing the Stevens Point Police Chief in hot water.
Marty Skibba is on a 15 day suspension without pay. He was under investigation for allegedly drinking on the job and having open liquor bottles in his police cruiser. Skibba must comply with counseling services and pass a medical report before he is allowed to return to work.
