An Eau Claire man is accused of leading police on a high-speed chase near Bloomer.
A criminal complaint says police tried to pull over Jacob Shimko for speeding earlier this month but he took off going over 90 miles-per-hour. Shimko got away, but he was arrested in Dunn County later that day after reportedly leading police on another chase.
He’s charged in Chippewa County with attempt to flee or elude and second-degree recklessly endangering safety.
