On Tuesday, February 18, just before 10 in the morning the Buffalo County Communications Center received multiple 911 calls of an assault that took place at 8630 Weisenbeck Road in the Town of Nelson, which is near Urne.
Initial investigation has indicated that two males were assaulted and have sustained significant injuries. Both injured persons were transported via air ambulances. The assailants and victims knew each other, this appears to be an isolated incident. There is no threat to the public. The investigation is on-going.
