One of Wisconsin’s largest power companies is telling people not to stick pennies in their electrical outlets.
WE Energies yesterday warned against the #OutletChallenge. It’s the latest internet-idea that has young people sticking pennies in between a plug and their outlets. When they plug the plug into the wall, sparks shoot-out. WE Energies says that’s extremely dangerous. The utility says it could damage the wiring and/or start a fire.
