A new study claims switching to electric vehicles could save Eau Claire a lot of money.
Xcel Energy recently studied communities in three states and found electric vehicles save about 55 cents per gallon on gas. Eau Claire leaders say the city could save over 100-thousand dollars over ten years by switching five city vehicles to electric.
