The search for the man who shot and killed an 18-year-old in La Crosse back in November is over.
U.S. Marshals arrested 27-year-old Shavonte Thompson on Friday in Peoria, Illinois. Thompson is also a suspect in a shooting in La Crosse in March of last year. There’s no word on why Thompson was in Peoria. Prosecutors say they are working to get him back to La Crosse to face charges.
