Governor Tony Evers makes his pick for an ombudsman to oversee sexual assault cases in the Wisconsin National Guard.
He announced the hiring yesterday of former Georgia National Guard Lieutenant Colonel Brian Bischoff. Evers decided to create the new position in December after a federal report outlined many problems with how the Guard was handling sexual assault allegations.
