There is a push to pay-off the lunch debt for school kids in Eau Claire.
The city’s schools say families owe about three thousand-dollars for unpaid lunches so far this year.
One parent, Tony Liedl, recently started a GoFundMe account to erase that debt. He said yesterday that he’s raised about 15 hundred-dollars so far. Liedl says he’ll keep the GoFundMe open through the middle of next month.
