A man is hurt after hitting a horse that was in the road in Tomah.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says Jonathan Schendel was southbound on State Highway 13 late Tuesday night when he hit the horse. Schendel suffered non-life threatening injuries. The horse died at the scene.
