The top man in the Wisconsin Assembly says it’s about time that Governor Evers turned his focus to mental health and not just gun control.
Assembly Speaker Robin Vos yesterday said Governor Evers is right to look at what can be done to reduce gun deaths among people with mental health challenges.
The governor on Tuesday said lawmakers need to help young people who are struggling in school with mental health issues. Vos and Republicans in Madison have said mental health reforms, and not more gun control laws, are the answer to the problem with gun violence in Wisconsin.
