Protestors gather at the state capitol to speak out against having F-35 fighter jets stationed at Truax Field.
Around 150 people showed up at the Capitol rotunda in Madison yesterday, saying the noise pollution from the jets would make residential properties near the airfield unlivable.
The Air Force will make it’s decision about whether or not to station a squad of F35’s’ in Madison early next year, but the activists are asking local political leaders to reject the plan.
