Forecasters say the snow in the Chippewa Valley will start tonight and continue through tomorrow morning. By the time it’s done, the National Weather Service says Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls could see nine inches of snow. There’s a winter storm warning in effect from 9 p.m. tonight through noon tomorrow.
SAFETY TIPS AND REMINDERS:
Do not head out in the worst of the winter weather. The Wisconsin State Patrol is asking people not to get out on the roads when the snow is at its worst tonight and early tomorrow. Troopers say a little common sense can help keep a lot of people from having to venture out in dangerous conditions to save you. Road crews in Eau Claire are also asking for some help in letting them clear the streets.
