Lawmakers in Madison want to call the tree at the statehouse a Christmas tree.
The state Assembly yesterday voted 64-30 to officially recognize the state’s tree as a Christmas tree, not a holiday tree as Governor Evers calls it. Four Democrats joined every single Republican in the state in voting for the resolution.
