Kids in Eau Claire may want to count their candy bars.
An Eau Claire dentist, Dr. Courtney Reich, is offering parents five dollars-per-pound for Halloween candy. She says the idea is to avoid cavities. Kids will get a toothbrush for their troubles. Reich and the other dentists at Oakwood Hills Family Dental are limiting the candy buy-back to just one pound per kid. You can swing buy and sell what’s left starting Monday.
