The city of Eau Claire is using a 10-million-dollar safe drinking water loan to pay for the next round of improvements at the city’s water treatment plant.
Utility managers say they need to upgrade some of the pieces that help filter-out iron and manganese from drinking water. Work on the project should start in two weeks.
