SPECIAL GUN CONTROL SESSION SET FOR NOV.

SPECIAL GUN CONTROL SESSION SET FOR NOV.

Governor Tony Evers is calling for a special session for the Wisconsin Legislature to take up gun control bills.

The session is set for November 7th, but already leaders of the Republican dominated State House and Senate say they won’t take up the proposals.  Nothing requires the legislature to move on the governor’s request.  Republicans see it as an attack on the Second Amendment while the governor says the vast majority of Wisconsinites show support for universal background checks and red flag laws.
