Property owners in the Eau Claire school district should have lower taxes next year.
Schools announced last Friday they’re projecting the first balanced budget in the last nine years. They say this will cause the tax levee to drop slightly. They say the owner of a 150-thousand dollar home will pay about 36 dollars less in property taxes.
