A bright autumnal sun shone down on the starting line of Stepping Stones’ 3 rd annual Step Up To Hunger 5K Walk/Run. On Saturday, Sept. 28, the Red Cedar Trail in Menomonie was the scene as supporters of all ages and sizes gathered to “Step Up” to prevent hunger in the community.

Each registrant received a swag bag filled with goodies donated by area businesses, and the race was followed by a chili feed at the nearby Riverside Park shelter. Gold medal sponsor Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield helped make this year’s family-friendly event possible, along with silver medal sponsors Jim and Patti Walker and bronze medal sponsors, Ellen Ochs, Skinner Law Firm LLC, Conagra Brands, WESTconsin Credit Union, Thrivent Financial and Colfax Chevrolet.
