There are some Republicans on-board with the latest plan to legalize medical marijuana in Wisconsin.
A group of lawmakers introduced their plan on Friday. It would allow people suffering from a number of conditions including cancer, PTSD, and opioid addiction to use marijuana as medicine. There are few people who expect the idea to become law.
The top Republican in the Wisconsin Senate, Scott Fitzgerald, on Friday said he is still opposed to changing the laws for marijuana in Wisconsin.
