GRANT TO HELP STUDENT MENTAL HEALTH

The Lake Holcombe School District is offering a new way for kids to receive mental health counseling.

The district recently received 60-thousand dollars from Wisconsin’s mental health grant to introduce virtual counseling.  In partnership with Prevea Health, students will be able to tune into a monitor and talk to a health professional in a private setting so families have better access to help.

This will be the first district in the state to use the program.
