Authorities in Eau Claire are looking for a man who was involved in a shooting. Court documents say James Nelson didn’t show up to his court date yesterday on an attempted battery to an emergency worker charge and multiple gun charges.
A criminal complaint claims Nelson was drunk at Big T’s Saloon on July 31st when workers heard gunshots coming from a bathroom. Police followed a trail of blood to Nelson’s house. It’s believed Nelson shot himself and then tried to bite a nurse in the emergency room.
