We have a heads up for commuters and citizens on a construction project to start next week in Eau Claire.
Construction on Lincoln Avenue, from State Street to Wilson Street will begin next week. The extensive project should stretch into early fall and the tentative start date is Monday, August 12, 2019. Estimated completion is Friday, October 11, 2019.
The project will include construction on Lincoln Avenue and will consist of removing the existing bituminous surface, removing curb and gutter, removing concrete driveway approaches, removing sidewalk, water main and services, sanitary sewer and services, storm sewer, grading, graveling, concrete curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk repairs, concrete driveway approaches and boulevard restoration.
