A sex offender will be released to our area this week.
On August 6th, 43 year old Walter T. Mallett will be released from prison. Previous convictions include 3rd degree sexual assault in both Dunn and Eau Claire Counties.
Mallett will be living under DOC supervision on the 100 block of Randall Street here in Eau Claire.
