One of the Monfils 6 is now a free man.
Seventy-two-year-old Rey Moore walked out of the John Burke Correctional Center in Waupin this morning. He served 24 years of a life sentence for the killing of Tom Monfils at the James River paper mill in Green Bay in 1992. Five others were charged with murder. Prosecutors say the men conspired to kill Monfils after Monfils heard one of them talk about stealing from the mill.
