Many people enjoy Fourth of July festivities, but for animals, it’s frightening.  Animal care officials in Wisconsin offer some tips to reduce pet anxiety, including turning on the TV or radio to help drown out noise and putting them in their carriers to make them feel more secure.  Some outward symptoms of anxiety in a dog or a cat include pacing, hiding, panting and not leaving your side.
