WI CHEERS “FORE” NATIVES

Two Wisconsin natives are making fans proud in the Badger State.

Steve Stricker became the 40th U.S. Senior Open champion with a win yesterday over fellow Wisconsinite Jerry Kelly.  The good friends walked to the 18th green at the Notre Dame course in South Bend, Indiana as fans cheered the twosome, who posted low numbers.  Stricker finished 19 under par, tying the largest margin of victory in the tournament’s history and winning by six over Kelly and David Toms.
