Lightning is believed to be the cause behind a barn fire in the Township of Eaton.
If you were watching WEAU-TV news this morning, then you likely saw the footage and saw that the barn is a total loss. The fire started around 11:00 yesterday morning and crews were on the scene for several hours battling the blaze.
The cattle were able to get out of the barn safely. It was the second lightning-related fire call of the day, as a home was struck around 8:45 a.m. Minimal damage was reported.
